Let Claude search Hugendubel for books, eBooks and audiobooks

Ask your agent
Give a title, an author or an ISBN. An ISBN gives the most exact match. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the query.

Claude then runs hugendubel.de/search-books with query set to dune, and reads the fields from each book.

The recipe has one input. It searches the same way the shop's search page does, and it returns the first page of results only.
What comes back
The result has query and books. Each book shows its title, author, format, price_eur, availability, ratings_count, an image and a url.
The format is the shop's label, such as hardcover, paperback, eBook or audiobook. price_eur is a number in euros. availability is the shop's text, such as "Sofort lieferbar". ratings_count is the number of customer ratings. The star value is not returned.
Editorial banners and recommendation carousels are skipped, so the list holds search results only. url opens the book on Hugendubel, where you can check the price and buy.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to www.hugendubel.de for one search page. It goes out from your browser, with no basket and no login. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs each request on your computer, with method, host, path and status, and never logs bodies or query values.
Limits and terms
- Hugendubel's terms have not been reviewed for automated access yet. The recipe does one search page per call, the same page a visitor sees. Don't loop it.
- The site's robots.txt has no AI-agent rules. This recipe runs only when you ask for a search.
- Booking stays on Hugendubel. The recipe never adds a book to a basket.
- Only the first page of results is returned. Narrow the query to find a specific book.
- Status on 7 Nov 2026 is "ok". The check passed 4 of 4 checks in one request, in 0.5 s.
FAQ
Can Claude buy the book?
No. The recipe only searches. Open the book's url from the result to buy on Hugendubel.
Can it find audiobooks and eBooks?
Yes. Each book has a format field. Add "audiobook" or "eBook" to your request if you want only one format.
Does it need a login?
No. The search needs no account.
Does it return all pages of results?
No. The recipe returns the first page only, because the shop renders no paging links on the server.
