Wield docs
Give your AI agent dozens of websites as tools. Recipes run in your own browser, with your own session; your logins never leave your computer.
Wield lets an AI agent (Claude, Cursor, Codex, any MCP client) use websites through your own browser. Instead of clicking through pages from screenshots, the agent picks a recipe: a small, reviewed description of the requests a site's own pages make. Wield runs it in a tab of that site, with your session, and returns clean data in about a second.
- Fast. A train search, a listing search or a doctor's free slots come back as structured data. In our measurements the median from the agent's call to the result is under one second.
- Private. Requests go from your browser to the website, nowhere else. Your passwords, cookies and what the site sends back never reach wield.run. In the site's tab Wield reads only the tokens a recipe names (what exactly). Every request is logged on your computer.
- Or nothing to install. For public pages, add
https://wield.run/mcpto your AI app and recipes run on wield.run's servers instead (hosted API). - Safe. Recipes are signed and can only reach the hosts they list. Anything that changes data (booking, sending a message) waits for you to click Allow in a window that shows exactly what will be sent.

- Add to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor: one URL, no install. Public pages, about a second per task.
- Install locally: about two minutes, for your own logins and bookings, in Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client.
- How it works: the agent, the extension, recipes and the registry.
