Install

Install Wield.

Three steps, about two minutes. You need Chrome and Node 20 or newer, on macOS or Linux.

Or let your agent do it. Paste the setup prompt into Claude Code or Cursor and it runs these steps with you.

  1. Run one command

    It installs Wield into ~/.wield, copies the Chrome extension there, and asks before adding Wield to each AI app it finds. No network port is opened.

  2. Add the extension

    Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and choose ~/.wield/extension. On a Mac, press Cmd+Shift+G in the file dialog to paste the path.

  3. Restart your agent

    Quit and reopen the apps you connected. To check every link, run:

Then ask your agent

“Find me a train from Berlin to München tomorrow morning.”

Every request it sends is logged to ~/.wield/logs. Run reports to wield.run stay off unless you turn them on.
