Terms of service.
The rules for using Wield, the registry and paid plans, in plain words.
1. Who we are
Wield is operated by Victor Gulchenko ("Wield", "we"). Contact: see the Impressum.
2. What Wield is
Wield lets your AI agent use websites through your own browser. It has three parts:
- the Wield browser extension and the MCP server you install on your own computer (the "software"),
- the public recipe registry at wield.run, and
- paid features on wield.run: the recipe builder, private recipes, team workspaces and policies.
We intend to publish the executor, bridge, MCP server and recipe format as open source (MIT).
3. Your use of websites through Wield
Wield sends requests to websites from your browser, with your login, when your agent asks it to. You are responsible for what your agent does on those websites with your accounts, and for following each website's own terms. Writes (sending, booking, buying) always wait for your explicit Allow.
Don't use Wield to overload, scrape at scale, or get around the security of any website, or to access accounts that are not yours.
4. The registry
Public recipes are provided as they are, free of charge. A recipe can stop working when a website changes. We publish each recipe's health on the status page and repair recipes as fast as we reasonably can.
5. Accounts and paid plans
- You need an account for paid features. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under your keys.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page, excluding VAT.
- You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Recipe builder runs are counted per billing period. Unused runs do not carry over.
6. Private recipes and your data
Private recipes belong to you. We store them for your workspace and serve them only with your keys. We never receive your passwords, cookies or the results of your tasks. See the privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep wield.run available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change these terms; we will tell paying customers by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect.
8. Liability
The software and public recipes are provided without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
