Let your AI agent search jobs and apprenticeships
Wield gives your AI agent two German job search recipes. The Bundesagentur für Arbeit recipe searches the official federal job board by role, place and radius, and it can list apprenticeships. The StepStone recipe searches StepStone by title and location. Neither recipe needs a login. In a live check, the federal board returned results in 170 ms.
Recipes covered today
| Recipe | Site | What it searches | Login | Status (7 Nov 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
arbeitsagentur.de/search-jobs | Bundesagentur für Arbeit | Jobs and apprenticeships on Germany's official job board, by role, place and radius | No | OK. 5 of 5 live checks |
stepstone.de/search-jobs | StepStone | Jobs by title and location | No | OK. 4 of 4 live checks |
In a live check, a search for Pflegefachkraft (nursing specialist) within 25 km of Leipzig returned 276 jobs in total and 25 jobs in 170 ms. The apprenticeship filter returns apprenticeship offers only, and a filter for jobs published within a few days also works. A StepStone search for Python developer jobs in Berlin returned 34 jobs in total and 25 jobs in 1.2 s.
The federal recipe uses the board's v6 interface, because the older v4 path now returns 403. This is a detail for the recipe's maintainers, but it explains why the recipe can break if the board changes its interface.
Example prompts
- "Find Pflegefachkraft jobs within 25 km of Leipzig and list the 25 newest."
- "List apprenticeships in IT in Hamburg from the federal job board."
- "Search StepStone for Python developer jobs in Berlin and list the 25 newest, with the title and company."
What it can't do yet
- Salaries are mostly hidden. On StepStone, most salaries show only when you are logged in, and this recipe does not log in.
- No applications. Neither recipe has an account or applies for a job.
- One page per call. The StepStone recipe reads one results page per call. To see more, ask your agent for the next page in a new request.
- Not in the benchmark yet. Neither job recipe has benchmark runs yet, so we have no speed or success comparison against a browser agent.
Terms of the sites
The Bundesagentur für Arbeit job board is a public-sector job board with a documented public API. Its recipe sends one search request per call. The StepStone recipe reads one results page per call, the way a person browsing would. Neither recipe creates an account.
