Immoweb MCP server: let your AI agent search Belgian homes

Wield is an MCP server that gives your AI agent one Immoweb tool, immoweb.be/search-properties. The tool searches Immoweb, the Belgian property site, for apartments or houses to rent or buy in a Belgian postcode. It returns each listing with price, extra costs, bedrooms, living area, address, floor, energy label (EPC), agency and link. The search runs in your own browser.

What your agent gets

RecipeWhat it doesLoginStatus (7 Nov 2026)
immoweb.be/search-propertiesFinds homes to rent or buy in a Belgian postcode, with price, size, EPC, agency and linkNoOK, 7 of 7 checks, 1 request

The tool takes a required postal_code, for example 1050 for Ixelles or 9000 for Gent. The recipe takes a postcode, not a city name. The optional inputs are transaction (rent or buy, default rent), property_type (apartment or house, default apartment), min_price, max_price, min_bedrooms, min_surface in square metres, sort, page and include_sponsored. Each page holds 60 results.

The sort input takes relevance (the default), newest, cheapest or most_expensive. Prices are in euros. For rentals, the price and the max_price filter are per month.

Each property has id, title, type, price_eur, extra_costs_eur, price_text, bedrooms, surface_m2, locality, postal_code, street, floor, latitude, longitude, epc, agency, new, updated, image, url, status and sponsored. The result also carries total, page and area, the area Immoweb matched, for example Ixelles (1050).

How a request flows

  1. You ask your agent: "Find apartments to rent in Ixelles, postcode 1050, for up to 1,500 euros a month."
  2. The agent calls find_recipe, then run with immoweb.be/search-properties, postal_code set to 1050, transaction set to rent and max_price set to 1500.
  3. wield-mcp passes the run through the local bridge to the Wield extension.
  4. The extension sends the request from an immoweb.be tab in your browser, so it carries your own browser session.
  5. The listings go back to your agent. Nothing passes through wield.run.

In our check on 7 November 2026, the Ixelles 1050 rent search with a maximum of 1,500 euros passed all 7 checks in one request, in 0.6 seconds. A Gent houses-for-sale search, sorted cheapest first, came back in ascending price order.

What leaves your computer

A search makes one request to www.immoweb.be, for one results page, as the site serves it to a visitor. The recipe does not contact agencies. Wield logs the request on your computer only, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.

Immoweb's terms, in plain words

Immoweb's robots.txt has no rules for AI agents. It has no group for Claude-User, ClaudeBot or anthropic-ai, and no Content-Signal line, as checked on 7 November 2026. We have not reviewed Immoweb's terms for automated access yet, so read them yourself before you use this recipe in any other way. This is not legal advice. The recipe is user-initiated: you start each search yourself, in your own browser, one search per call. It makes one request for one results page, it runs no bulk jobs and it makes no purchases. Contacting agencies stays on immoweb.be.

Limits and what is not working yet

  • Read only. The recipe finds listings. Contacting agencies happens on immoweb.be.
  • Postcodes only. Pass the Belgian postcode. The city name is not a parameter.
  • Paid listings are dropped by default. Immoweb can place a paid premium listing first, out of the requested order. Set include_sponsored to true to keep it, marked sponsored.
  • Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.

FAQ

Can the agent contact the agency or book a visit?

No. The recipe only searches. Open the listing's url on immoweb.be to contact the agency yourself.

Does it need an Immoweb login?

No. The search works without an account.

Which AI apps work with it?

Any MCP client. npx -y wield-mcp init sets up Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Other MCP clients work with the standard stdio config.

Where do the results go?

To your agent, on your own computer. The results never pass through wield.run.
