Let Claude search Immoweb homes in Belgium by postcode

To let Claude search Immoweb homes, install Wield and name a Belgian postcode and what you want. For example: "Find apartments to rent in Ixelles, postcode 1050, for up to 1,500 euros a month, and show price, size, EPC and link." Claude runs the immoweb.be/search-properties recipe in your own browser. It returns listings with price, extra costs, size, energy label and agency. No login is needed.

What you need

  • Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
  • A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.
  • wield-mcp. Run npx -y wield-mcp init, or use the one-click Claude Desktop bundle on wield.run/install.

For the full setup, follow the quick start.

Ask your agent

Give the postcode, whether you want to rent or buy, and any filters. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.

You: Find apartments to rent in Ixelles, postcode 1050, for up to 1,500 euros a month, cheapest first. Show price, size, EPC and link.

Claude then runs immoweb.be/search-properties with postal_code set to 1050, transaction set to rent, max_price set to 1500 and sort set to cheapest, and reads the price, size and EPC from each property.

Params: what to put where

ParamRequiredWhat to put in it
postal_codeyesBelgian postcode, for example 1000 (Brussels), 1050 (Ixelles), 2000 (Antwerpen), 9000 (Gent) or 4000 (Liège).
transactionnorent or buy. Default rent.
property_typenoapartment or house. Default apartment.
min_price, max_pricenoPrice in euros. When renting, the price is per month.
min_bedroomsnoMinimum number of bedrooms.
min_surfacenoMinimum living area in square metres.
sortnorelevance, newest, cheapest or most_expensive. Default relevance.
pagenoResults page. Default 1. Each page holds 60 results.
include_sponsorednotrue keeps paid premium positions, marked sponsored. Default false.

Pass the postcode, not the city name. The recipe uses the postcode as its search area and returns the area it matched in the area field, for example Ixelles (1050).

What comes back

The result has total, page, area and properties. Each property shows id, title, type, price_eur, extra_costs_eur, price_text, bedrooms, surface_m2, locality, postal_code, street, floor, latitude, longitude, epc, agency, new, updated, image, url, status and sponsored.

price_eur is the asking price, or the monthly rent when you rent. extra_costs_eur shows the extra costs when the listing gives them. url opens the listing on immoweb.be, where you can contact the agency.

What leaves your computer

The recipe makes one request to www.immoweb.be, for one results page. It goes out from your browser, so it carries your own browser session. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs the request on your computer, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs bodies or query values.

Limits and terms

  • One search at a time. Run it when you need it. Don't loop it to watch listings.
  • Read only. Contacting agencies stays on immoweb.be. Open the listing's url to do that yourself.
  • Paid listings are dropped by default. Set include_sponsored to keep them, marked sponsored.
  • Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.
  • Status on 7 Nov 2026 is "ok". The Ixelles 1050 rent check passed 7 of 7 checks in 1 request, in 0.6 seconds.

Immoweb's terms, in plain words

Immoweb's robots.txt has no rules for AI agents. It has no group for Claude-User, ClaudeBot or anthropic-ai, and no Content-Signal line, as checked on 7 November 2026. We have not reviewed Immoweb's terms for automated access yet, so read them yourself before you use this recipe in any other way. This is not legal advice. The recipe is user-initiated: you start each search yourself, in your own browser, one search per call. It makes one request for one results page, it runs no bulk jobs and it makes no purchases. Contacting agencies stays on immoweb.be.

FAQ

Can Claude contact the agency or book a visit?

No. The recipe only searches. Open the listing's url on immoweb.be and contact the agency yourself.

Does it need an Immoweb login?

No. The search works without an account.

Does the result include paid listings?

Not by default. Paid premium positions are dropped. Set include_sponsored to true to keep them, and they come back marked sponsored.

Why does the recipe take a postcode instead of a city?

The recipe's input is the Belgian postcode. Use 1050 for Ixelles. The area field shows which area Immoweb matched.
