11880 MCP server: let your AI agent search German local businesses

#What your agent gets

The tool takes two required inputs. what is the trade or business name, for example zahnarzt, elektriker or friseur. where is the city or postcode, for example berlin, koeln or 80331.

Write the city the way 11880 spells it in its path. Umlauts become ae, oe, ue and ss, so use koeln, not köln. The recipe does not follow redirects, and 11880 answers köln with one. Multi-word names work the same way: write frankfurt, not frankfurt am main, because 11880 shortens the name by redirect.

In our checks on 7 November 2026, zahnarzt in berlin passed all 5 checks in one request and matched 3,228 businesses. A check for frankfurt matched 148 businesses, and a search with zero results was checked as well.

Each business has the fields name, trades, address, phone, open_now, opening, rating, reviews, listing_tier and url. total is the number of matches 11880 reports, or null. One call returns up to 50 businesses.

listing_tier shows the paid entry tier printed on the listing: gold, silber, bronze or branchen. 11880's ranking can favour paid tiers. The directory does not label these entries as ads, so the recipe keeps them and returns the tier instead of dropping them.

#How a request flows

1. You ask your agent: "Find dentists in Berlin on 11880 with phone numbers and opening hours."
2. The agent calls find_recipe, then run with 11880.com/search-businesses, what set to zahnarzt and where set to berlin.
3. wield-mcp passes the run through the local bridge to the Wield extension.
4. The extension sends the request from your browser, with the session you already have.
5. The businesses go back to your agent. Nothing passes through wield.run.

#What leaves your computer

A search makes one request to www.11880.com, for one results page, the way the site serves a visitor. The recipe does not call, message, review or book anything. Wield logs the request on your computer only, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.

#11880's terms, in plain words

The site's robots.txt allows the /suche search path. It disallows paths such as /ajax/, /form and /login. It has no rules for Claude agents or AI content signals. The phone numbers and addresses in the results are the public entries the directory publishes. Wield has not yet reviewed 11880's terms of use for automated access, so read them yourself before you use this recipe in any other way.

The recipe runs one search that you start yourself, in your own browser, with one request per call. It is not for bulk collection and it makes no purchases.

#Limits and what is not working yet

• Read only. The recipe finds businesses. It does not call them, message them or book anything.
• Paid tiers can rank first. Check listing_tier before you treat the order as neutral.
• Spelling matters. Write umlauts as ae, oe, ue and ss, and use the short city name.
• Opening status is a snapshot. open_now and opening show what the listing displays at the time of the run.
• Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.

#Does the recipe need an 11880 account?

No. The search needs no login.

#Can the agent book a business or call it?

No. The recipe only searches. Open the business's url to see its entry on 11880.

#Does the search show prices or reviews?

No prices. The results give the star rating and the number of reviews, but not the text of the reviews.

#Which AI apps work with it?

Any MCP client. npx -y wield-mcp init sets up Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Other MCP clients work with the standard stdio config.

#Where do the results go?

To your agent, on your own computer. The results never pass through wield.run.
