What you need
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.
wield-mcp. Runnpx -y wield-mcp init, or use the one-click Claude Desktop bundle on wield.run/install.
For the full setup, follow the quick start.
Ask your agent
Give the trade and the city or postcode. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the two parameters.
You: Find dentists in Berlin on 11880 with phone numbers and opening hours.
Claude runs 11880.com/search-businesses with what set to zahnarzt and where set to berlin, then reads the list that comes back.
Params: what to put where
| Param | Required | What to put in it |
|---|---|---|
what | yes | Trade or business name, for example zahnarzt, elektriker or friseur. |
where | yes | City or postcode, for example berlin, koeln or 80331. |
Write the city the way 11880 spells it in its path. Umlauts become ae, oe, ue and ss, so koeln works and köln does not. The recipe does not follow redirects. 11880 shortens multi-word names, so use frankfurt and not frankfurt am main.
What comes back
The result has what, where, total and businesses. total is the number of matches 11880 reports, or null. businesses holds up to 50 entries from the search.
Each business shows name, trades, address, phone, open_now, opening, rating, reviews, listing_tier and url. The url opens the entry on 11880.
listing_tier shows the paid tier printed on the entry: gold, silber, bronze or branchen. 11880's ranking can favour paid tiers, and the directory does not label these entries as ads. The recipe keeps them and returns the tier, so you can judge the order yourself.
Review text is not included. The result gives the star rating and the number of reviews.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to www.11880.com, for one search page. The request goes out from your browser, and nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs the request on your computer, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs bodies or query values.
Limits
- The recipe only searches. It does not call, message or book any business.
- Paid tiers can rank first. Read
listing_tierbefore you treat the order as neutral. - Spelling matters. A redirect is not followed, so use the path spelling for umlauts and the short city name.
open_nowandopeningshow what the entry displays at the time of the run.- A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.
11880's terms, in plain words
11880's robots.txt allows the /suche search path and disallows paths such as /ajax/, /form and /login. It has no rules for Claude agents or AI content signals. The phone numbers and addresses in the results are the public entries the directory publishes. Wield has not yet reviewed 11880's terms of use for automated access, so check them yourself.
The recipe runs one search that you start yourself, in your own browser, with one request per call. It is not for bulk collection and it makes no purchases.
