Let Claude search Kijiji listings in Canada by keyword, place and price
To let Claude search Kijiji listings, install Wield and describe what you want, where and at what price. For example: "Search Kijiji in Toronto for a standing desk under 300 dollars, cheapest first." Claude runs the kijiji.ca/search-listings recipe in your own browser. It returns listings with title, price, area, posting time, description, photo and link. No login is needed.

You don't need a Kijiji account to search.
Ask your agent
Give the keyword, the place and the price range. Example:
You: Search Kijiji in Toronto for a standing desk under 300 dollars, cheapest first.
Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters. For the order of results, ask for "newest first", "oldest first", "cheapest first" or "most expensive first". Those map to newest, oldest, price_low and price_high.

What comes back
The result has query, location, total, page and listings. total is the number of matching listings and can be null.
Each listing has id, title, description, price_cad, price_type, location, posted, price_drop, verified_seller, top_ad, image, url and listed. price_type shows whether the price is fixed, free, on request ("contact") or a swap or trade, so read it before you compare prices. top_ad marks paid placements. Open url to see the full ad on kijiji.ca.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to www.kijiji.ca, for one results page. The request goes out from your browser. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs the request on your computer only, with method, host, path, status and timing. It never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default.
Limits
- The recipe is read only. It never sends a message to a seller.
- The recipe has no status row yet, so no live result is published as of 7 November 2026.
- Top Ads are dropped unless you ask for them.
- Run limits apply: at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.
Kijiji's terms, in plain words
Kijiji's robots.txt has no rules for AI agents, as checked on 7 November 2026. It has no group for Claude-User, ClaudeBot or anthropic-ai, and no Content-Signal line. It allows the /b- search pages that this recipe uses. We have not reviewed Kijiji's terms for automated access yet. The recipe is user-initiated: you start each search, each call runs one search in your own browser, and it is not for bulk collection. The recipe makes no purchases. Messages to sellers stay on kijiji.ca. This is not legal advice. Read Kijiji's terms yourself before you use this recipe in any other way.
FAQ
Can Claude message a seller?
No. The recipe only searches. Open the listing's url to contact the seller on kijiji.ca.
Why do some prices say "contact" or "free"?
Kijiji lists some items without a fixed price. price_type shows whether the price is fixed, free, on request or a swap or trade.
Does it need a login?
No. Search works without a Kijiji account.
Does it return Top Ads?
Not by default. Ask for include_top_ads to keep them. They are marked with top_ad.
