Let Claude search Marktplaats listings near a postcode, by price and sort order
To let Claude search Marktplaats, install Wield and ask for a search in plain words. For example: "Find bakfietsen within 10 km of 1012AB, closest first." Claude runs the marktplaats.nl/search-listings recipe in your own browser. It returns listings with the title, price in euros, city, distance, seller and a link to each listing. No Marktplaats login is needed.

Ask your agent
Give what you are looking for, your postcode if distance matters, and any price limits. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.
You: Find bakfietsen within 10 km of 1012AB, closest first.
Claude runs marktplaats.nl/search-listings with query, postcode, distance_km and sort. It then reads the listings and their distances from the result.
Params: what to put where
| Param | Required | What to put in it |
|---|---|---|
query | yes | What to look for, for example fiets or bakfiets. |
min_price | no | Lowest price in EUR. |
max_price | no | Highest price in EUR. |
postcode | no | A Dutch postcode, for example 1012AB. |
distance_km | no | 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, 50 or 75. Only works together with postcode. |
sort | no | relevance (default), newest, price_low, price_high or distance. |
page | no | Page number, starting at 1. |
include_ads | no | false by default. Set true to keep Admarkt business ads, which are marked sponsored. |
If you give no postcode, the search does not measure distance. Then distance_km has no effect.
What comes back
The result has query, total, page and listings. total is the number of matches, as the site counts them.
Each listing has id, title, description, price_eur and price_type, which can be fixed, bidding, free and others. It also has city, distance_km, latitude, longitude, listed, seller, seller_verified, delivery, promoted, sponsored, image and url. The url opens the listing on Marktplaats.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to www.marktplaats.nl, from your browser. Nothing passes through wield.run. Your postcode is sent to Marktplaats as part of the search, because the site needs it for the distance. Wield logs each request on your computer, without bodies or query values. Wield reads no cookies and no passwords. See the security notes.
Marktplaats's terms, in plain words
We have not reviewed Marktplaats's terms as a lawyer would, so this is not legal advice. The recipe makes one search request per call, the same one the list page makes. It sends no messages and places no bids. Read the site's terms before you automate anything else.
Limits
- Read only. The recipe searches. It does not contact sellers or place bids.
- One search at a time. Don't loop it to watch for new listings.
- Distance needs a postcode. Pick a radius from the list. Other values are not accepted.
- Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds. This search uses one step.
Status on 7 Nov 2026 is "ok": 5 of 5 checks passed. In our check, a search for fiets up to 300 EUR, newest first, returned 30 listings in 549 ms. A bicycle search near 1012AB within 10 km, sorted by distance, also passed.
FAQ
Can Claude message the seller?
No. Open the url from the result to contact the seller on Marktplaats yourself.
Does it need a login?
No. The search needs no account.
Do business ads appear in the results?
Not by default. Business ads from Admarkt are dropped. Set include_ads to true to keep them. They are then marked sponsored, so your agent can show them as ads.
What does the promoted flag mean?
It marks a listing that the site promotes. Your agent can show that flag next to the listing.
