Let Claude search mydealz deals by product or shop
To let Claude search mydealz deals, install Wield and name a product or shop. For example: "Find AirPods deals on mydealz, leave out expired ones, and show the price, the next best price and the voucher code." Claude runs the mydealz.de/search-deals recipe in your own browser. It returns deals with price, merchant, votes, voucher code and expiry. No login is needed.

Parameters (2)
What you need
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera or Chromium) with the Wield extension, version 0.1.12 or newer.
wield-mcp. Runnpx -y wield-mcp init, or use the one-click Claude Desktop bundle on wield.run/install.
An older extension makes wield-mcp return extension_outdated. Update the extension first. For the full setup, follow the quick start.
Ask your agent
Give a product or shop, and say if you want expired deals left out. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.
You: Find AirPods deals on mydealz, leave out expired ones, and show the price, the next best price and the voucher code.
Claude runs mydealz.de/search-deals with query set to airpods and only_active set to true. It then reads the title, price, next best price, merchant and voucher code from each deal.
Params: what to put where
| Param | Required | What to put in it |
|---|---|---|
query | yes | A product or shop, for example airpods, playstation 5 or lego. |
only_active | no | false (the default) keeps expired deals, marked as expired. true drops them. |
What comes back
The result has query and deals. Each deal shows title, type, price_eur, next_best_price_eur, merchant, temperature, free_shipping, voucher_code, posted_at, expired, comments and url.
temperature is the community's votes on the deal, and a hotter deal scores higher. voucher_code is empty when a deal has no voucher. posted_at is in UTC. url opens the deal on mydealz. The recipe does not open that page for you.
What leaves your computer
Each search makes one request to www.mydealz.de, for one search page. It goes out from your browser. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs the request on your computer, without bodies or query values.
mydealz's terms, in plain words
mydealz's robots.txt disallows /search for bots, and it disallows filter parameters such as hide_expired and priceFrom. This recipe calls the search page itself, once per request you make, from your own browser, without filter parameters. The robots file has no rules for Claude agents, and the site sends no AI content signals. The recipe makes one request per call. It does not vote, comment or set alerts.
The scope is simple. Wield runs this recipe when you ask for it, for one search per call, from your own browser. It does not run bulk jobs, and it does not buy anything.
Our review of these terms is not finished, and this is not legal advice. Read mydealz's terms and its robots.txt yourself before you use the recipe in any other way.
Limits
- Read only. The search does not vote, comment, set alerts or log in.
- Up to 30 deals. Results come in mydealz's order.
- No matches, empty list. The site's hottest-deals fallback is skipped, so a search with no match returns an empty list.
- Extension version. The recipe needs Wield extension 0.1.12 or newer.
Status and benchmark
Status on 7 Nov 2026 is OK. The check passed 5 of 5 checks for airpods in one request, in 1.1 s, with 30 deals. We have not benchmarked this recipe against a browser agent yet.
