Let your AI agent search used cars
Wield gives your AI agent two used car search recipes. The AutoScout24 recipe searches by make, model, price, year and mileage, and passed 9 of 9 benchmark runs. The mobile.de recipe covers the same filters, but it passed 5 of 9 runs. It works only through the Wield extension in your browser, because the site answers automated server requests with 403.

In a live check, the AutoScout24 recipe searched for a VW Golf from 2018 or newer, up to 15,000 €, and returned the cheapest first in 0.7 s. The price, year and sort filters were all honored. On mobile.de, the live check returned 24 cards per page. Four sponsored cards were dropped. The recipe starts from the site's search page, because the bare search address redirects to another host and the extension then fails.

mobile.de is the weakest Wield recipe in this category. Its 4 failed runs count against it in the benchmark, and they are not removed. The browser agent did well on AutoScout24, but it took about two and a half minutes per run.

What it can't do yet
- mobile.de needs the extension. The recipe does not run from a server. It runs in a Chromium browser with the Wield extension.
- mobile.de misses some runs. The benchmark passes 5 of 9 runs. A page with no cards now fails, instead of returning zero cars, so the extension can retry.
- Sponsored listings are dropped. A results page can show fewer cars than the site's count.
- No dealer contact. Contacting dealers and sellers stays on the site.
- Checks stop the run. If a site shows a check, Wield stops and asks you to solve it in your own tab.
Terms of the sites
AutoScout24's terms prohibit automated data collection. mobile.de's terms prohibit automated data extraction. Each recipe runs one search page at a time, from your own browser. Contacting dealers stays on the site.

Why does mobile.de pass only some runs?
In our benchmark, 5 of 9 runs passed. The 4 misses are counted in the benchmark, and we do not hide them. The recipe now fails on empty pages instead of reporting zero cars.
Does the car search work from Claude Desktop?
Any MCP client that starts wield-mcp locally can call the AutoScout24 recipe. The mobile.de recipe also needs the Wield extension in a Chromium browser, such as Chrome, Edge or Brave.
Can my agent contact a seller?
No. Contacting sellers and dealers stays on the site, and no recipe in this category sends a message.
