Let Claude search OLX.pl listings by city, price and condition
To let Claude search OLX.pl, install Wield and ask for a search in plain words. For example: "Find used bicycles in Kraków up to 500 PLN, cheapest first." Claude runs the olx.pl/search-listings recipe in your own browser. It returns listings with the title, price in złoty, condition, city, district and a link. The recipe runs only in your browser, because OLX blocks requests from servers. No OLX login is needed.

What you need
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension, open while the search runs.

Ask your agent
Give what you are looking for, the city if you want one, and any limits on price or condition. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.
You: Find used bicycles in Kraków up to 500 PLN, cheapest first.
Claude runs olx.pl/search-listings with query, city, condition, max_price and sort. It then reads the listings from the result.

What comes back
The result has query, city, region, total, page and listings. city and region show what OLX matched, so check them if you searched a place name. total is the count OLX shows.
Each listing has id, title, price_pln, price_label, price_type, negotiable, previous_price_pln, condition, city, district, region, posted_at, refreshed_at, seller_type, olx_delivery, promoted, image and url. The url opens the listing on OLX.
Why this runs only in your browser
OLX blocks requests from servers. So this recipe runs only in your own browser, with the Wield extension, and the browser has to stay open during the run. If OLX shows a check, Wield stops and asks you to solve it in your own tab. Wield does not solve it for you.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one or two requests to www.olx.pl, from your browser. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs each request on your computer, without bodies or query values. It reads no cookies and no passwords. See the security notes.
OLX's terms, in plain words
OLX's terms forbid automated data collection without consent. We have not reviewed those terms as a lawyer would, so this is not legal advice. The recipe makes the same one or two requests OLX's search page makes, one search per call, in your browser. It sends no messages and reads no contact details. Read OLX's terms and decide whether your use is allowed before you run it.
Limits
- Read only. The recipe searches. It does not contact sellers.
- Browser only. The run needs your browser open, so it cannot run on a schedule from a server.
- One search at a time. Don't loop it to watch for new listings.
- Loose matches. A query with no real matches still returns loosely related listings, as the site does.
- Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds. This search uses two steps.
Status on 7 Nov 2026 is "ok (browser only)": 6 of 6 checks passed. In our check, a search for rower in Kraków, used, up to 500 PLN, cheapest first, returned 4,108 matches. The first page showed 40 listings after 11 paid top ads were dropped. All listings were in Kraków.
FAQ
Can Claude contact the seller?
No. The recipe reads no contact details and sends no messages. Open the url from a result to contact the seller on OLX yourself.
Does it need a login?
No. The search needs no account.
Why does it show paid ads last or not at all?
Paid top ads come first on the site, whatever the sort. They are dropped by default. Set include_promoted to true to keep them, and they will be marked promoted.
Why is my browser open during the search?
Because OLX blocks requests from servers. The recipe runs in your browser, so the browser has to be open for the search to run.
