Ryanair MCP server: let your AI agent find the cheapest fares

Wield is an MCP server that gives your AI agent two Ryanair tools. ryanair.com/cheapest-fares lists the cheapest Ryanair destinations from one airport in a date window. ryanair.com/search-flights shows the cheapest fare for each day on one route. Both run in your own browser and need no Ryanair login.

Updated

What your agent gets

RecipeWhat it doesLoginStatus (7 Nov 2026)
ryanair.com/cheapest-faresCheapest one-way fare, or cheapest return trip, from one airport to every destination in a date windowNoOK, 5 of 5 checks, about 0.3 s
ryanair.com/search-flightsCheapest fare for each day on one route, one way or with a return rangeNoOK, 6 of 6 checks, about 0.2 s

Both recipes are read only. They list fares and link to Ryanair's flight selection, where seats, bags and the final price are shown and booked.

The two tools

ryanair.com/cheapest-fares

Use this when you know the airport and the dates, but not the destination. The tool takes an IATA airport code and a date window. Add nights to get return trips, and add a country or a price cap to narrow the list. Results are sorted cheapest first.

ParamRequiredWhat it is
originyesDeparture airport IATA code, such as BER (Berlin), STN (London Stansted) or DUB (Dublin)
date_fromyesEarliest departure day, YYYY-MM-DD
date_tonoLatest departure day. Defaults to date_from
nights_min, nights_maxnoReturn trips only. Leave out both for one way
countrynoOnly destinations in one country, as an ISO code such as es
max_pricenoPrice cap in the chosen currency. For returns, the cap applies to the whole trip
currencynoEUR (default), GBP, PLN, HUF, CZK, SEK, NOK, DKK, CHF, MAD, RON or BGN

Each destination in the result has the airport, city, country, price, departure and arrival, the flight number and a url to Ryanair's flight selection. For returns, it also shows the nights and the price per leg.

ryanair.com/search-flights

Use this when the route is fixed and you want the price for each day. The departure range can cover up to two calendar months. Add a return range to get the way back too.

ParamRequiredWhat it is
originyesDeparture airport IATA code
destinationyesArrival airport IATA code, such as BCN (Barcelona) or BGY (Milan Bergamo)
date_fromyesFirst departure day, YYYY-MM-DD
date_tonoLast departure day. Same or next calendar month as date_from
return_from, return_tonoThe way back, from destination to origin. Leave out for one way
currencynoSame list as above. Defaults to EUR
max_pricenoLeave out days whose cheapest fare is higher

The result lists outbound and return days, each with the cheapest fare and the departure and arrival time. Days without a flight, and sold-out days, are left out. cheapest_outbound and cheapest_return give the cheapest day in each list, or null.

How a request flows

  1. You ask your agent: "Find the cheapest Ryanair destinations from BER between 8 and 31 January 2027, one way, in euros."
  2. The agent calls find_recipe, then run with ryanair.com/cheapest-fares and the parameters.
  3. wield-mcp passes the run through the local bridge to the Wield extension.
  4. The extension makes the requests from your browser, so the search runs as it would in a Ryanair tab.
  5. The fares come back to your agent. Nothing passes through wield.run.

Example prompts

  • "Find return trips from STN of 2 to 3 nights in late January 2027 to Spain, with a total price under £80."
  • "Show me the cheapest Ryanair fare from BER to BCN for each day from 11 to 17 January 2027, one way."
  • "Check Ryanair from STN to DUB with a return range, in GBP, and list only the days under £120."

What leaves your computer

The only host these recipes call is www.ryanair.com. A status check on 7 November 2026 made one request for the cheapest-fares recipe. Wield logs each request on your computer, with method, host, path, status and timing. It never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.

Ryanair's terms, in plain words

Ryanair's website terms allow private, non-commercial use. They forbid automated extraction for commercial purposes, which includes screen scraping. Ryanair's robots.txt disallows /api for crawlers. These recipes make one search at a time, using the same requests the fare finder makes, and booking stays on ryanair.com. We have not reviewed these terms as a lawyer would, so this is not legal advice. Check Ryanair's terms yourself before you automate anything else.

Limits

  • Read only. The tools never book. Use the url to continue on ryanair.com.
  • Airport codes. Use IATA codes such as BER, not city names.
  • Fares are not final totals. Seats, bags and the final price appear on the flight selection the link opens.
  • Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.

FAQ

Does Ryanair need a login for these tools?

No. Both recipes run without a Ryanair account.

Can my agent book a flight?

No. The tools only read fares. Open the url from the result to pick seats and pay on ryanair.com.

Which AI apps work with it?

Any MCP client. npx -y wield-mcp init sets up Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Other MCP clients work with the standard stdio config. Claude Desktop also has a one-click bundle on wield.run/install.

Does the price include bags and seats?

The fare is for one adult. Bags, seats and the final price are shown on the flight selection the link opens.

Where do I start?

See the cheapest fares how-to for the full parameter list, or the route search how-to for one route.
