Let Claude search IKEA products with price and rating

To let Claude search IKEA products, install Wield and ask in plain words, for example: "Search IKEA Germany for a KALLAX shelf under 100 euros and list price, rating and online availability." Claude runs the ikea.com/search-products recipe in your own browser. It returns matching products with name, size, design, current and previous price, star rating, review count and online availability.

Everything for IKEA

What you need

  • An MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
  • A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera or Chromium) with the Wield extension.
  • wield-mcp. Run npx -y wield-mcp init. The install page and the quick start cover the details.

You don't need an IKEA account.

Ask your agent

Use the product name or what you need, such as "kallax", "billy regal" or "office chair". Add a price limit or a market if you have one. Example:

Search IKEA Germany for a KALLAX shelf under 100 euros and list price, rating and online availability.

IKEA always returns its closest matches, even for a query that matches nothing. Check the names in the result before you rely on them.

On 7 Nov 2026, a live check for KALLAX in de/de returned 24 of 143 products in 206 to 322 ms. at/de and us/en with a max_price also worked in that check. Prices in us/en come in US dollars.

What leaves your computer

The recipe sends one search request to sik.search.blue.cdtapps.com, which is IKEA's search service. It goes from a tab in your own browser. The IKEA site makes the same request when someone searches. There is no account and no cart. Nothing goes through wield.run.

Limits and terms

  • The recipe reads products only. It drops planner and content tiles, so you see products and nothing else.
  • Run one search at a time for your own question. Don't loop it over many queries.
  • This recipe has no benchmark row yet, so this page makes no speed comparison.

FAQ

How was this recipe made?

Wield's recipe builder drafted it from one captured search request. The draft was replayed offline and checked live on 7 Nov 2026. You can read the recipe's parameters and steps in the Wield registry.

Does Claude add anything to my cart?

No. The recipe makes one search request and nothing else. It has no cart step.

Does it need a login?

No. The recipe needs no login.

How do I search in another currency?

Change the market. The price limit uses that market's currency, so max_price in us/en is in US dollars.
