9 runs each, 7 November 2026. How we measure
What you need
- An MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera or Chromium) with the Wield extension.
wield-mcp. Runnpx -y wield-mcp init. The install page and the quick start cover the details.
You don't need a mobile.de account to search.
Ask your agent
Name the make and your limits. Example:
Find BMW cars from 2019 or newer under 25,000 euros with less than 80,000 km on mobile.de.
Your agent maps those limits to year_from, price_to and max_km.
Params: what to put where
Your agent fills these in from your sentence.
| Param | Required | What it means |
|---|---|---|
make | yes | The car make from mobile.de's list, such as BMW, Volkswagen or Tesla |
price_from and price_to | no | Price limits in euros |
year_from | no | Only cars first registered from this year on |
max_km | no | Maximum mileage in km |
sort | no | relevance (the default), price_asc (cheapest first) or price_desc (most expensive first) |
include_sponsored | no | Default false. Set to true to keep sponsored listings |
What comes back
The result has make, currency, total (all matching offers on mobile.de) and a cars list. Each car has:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
title, price_eur, negotiable | The listing title, its price and whether the price is negotiable |
price_rating | mobile.de's own price rating for the listing |
first_registration, mileage_km, power, fuel | Registration date, mileage, power and fuel type |
seller and seller_type | The seller, and whether it is a dealer or a private seller |
location, sponsored and url | Where the car is, whether the listing is sponsored, and its link |
damaged, accident, roadworthy | Condition flags read from the listing's attribute line |
The condition flags come from German words in the listing: "Beschädigt" (damaged), "Unfallfahrzeug" (accident vehicle) and "Nicht fahrtauglich" (not roadworthy).
In a live check on 7 Nov 2026, a Volkswagen search (5,000 to 15,000 euros, from 2018, up to 100,000 km) and a BMW search (up to 20,000 euros) each returned 24 listing cards. In each search, 4 sponsored listings were dropped.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to suchen.mobile.de, from a tab in your own browser. Nothing goes through wield.run. Wield does not read, copy or send your cookies or passwords.
Limits and terms
- The recipe runs only in your browser. mobile.de's bot protection rejects non-browser clients.
- An earlier version failed when mobile.de's bare search address redirected to
www.mobile.de. The current version starts from the search page directly. An empty result page now fails the run, instead of returning zero cars. - mobile.de's terms prohibit automated data extraction. Run one search at a time for your own question.
- Contacting sellers stays on mobile.de. This recipe does not message sellers.
Benchmark
As of 7 Nov 2026, preliminary. In our runs, the Wield recipe passed 5 of 9 searches. That is lower than the other recipes in this guide, and four runs failed. Its median was 2109 ms, with no model cost. A Browser Use agent driving Claude Sonnet 5.5 passed 0 of 9. Bot protection blocked it in all 9 runs. Its median was 13.5 s, at about $0.02 per run. The check was at least 5 cars with title and price. Full method: the mobile.de benchmark.
FAQ
Does Claude contact sellers?
No. Contacting sellers stays on mobile.de, and this recipe only searches.
Can I sort by price?
Yes. Use price_asc for cheapest first, or price_desc for most expensive first.
What does the price rating mean?
It is mobile.de's own price rating for the listing. The recipe returns it as shown on the site. Wield does not score the car itself.
Why are some listings missing?
Sponsored listings are dropped by default. Set include_sponsored to true to keep them.
