Let Claude search used cars on AutoScout24
To let Claude search used cars on AutoScout24, install Wield and ask for a make. You can add a model, a price range, a year, a mileage limit and a distance from a postcode. Wield runs the autoscout24.de/search-cars recipe from your own browser in two request steps. It returns the make, model, price, mileage, registration year, fuel, power, seller and link for each car.

What you need
- An MCP client: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP app.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.

You don't need an AutoScout24 login to search. Contacting a dealer stays on autoscout24.de.
Ask your agent
Use a sentence with the car, the limits and the order you want. For example:
"Find VW Golf cars from 2018 or newer under 15,000 euros, cheapest first, within 50 km of 10115."
Claude maps the request to the params below. It turns "VW" into volkswagen, because AutoScout24 uses the make name as its URL slug, not vw.

What comes back
The top level has total, pages, page, currency and cars. Each car has:

What leaves your computer
Two request steps go to www.autoscout24.de per search, sent from your own browser tab. Nothing goes through wield.run. Wield logs the method, host, path, status and timing on your computer. It never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Passwords and cookies never leave your computer.
Limits and terms
- Terms. AutoScout24's robots.txt disallows AI training crawlers, including ClaudeBot, and AutoScout24's terms prohibit automated data collection. Wield runs this recipe only when you ask, from your own browser, one search page per call: no bulk collection and no purchases. Read AutoScout24's terms yourself.
- Dealers. The recipe does not contact sellers. Contacting a dealer happens on autoscout24.de.
- Status. The recipe reports OK on 7 November 2026 at 12:27 in a wield-dev check. The check passed 5 of 5 tests, for a VW Golf up to 15,000 euros from 2018, cheapest first, in 0.7 s.

As of 7 November 2026 (preliminary, still running), the task was "cars with a title and a price", at least five per run.

Can Claude contact a dealer for me?
No. The recipe only reads search results. Contacting a dealer happens on autoscout24.de.
Does it need an AutoScout24 login?
No. Searching needs no account. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.
Are prices and mileage in euros and kilometres?
Prices come in euros (the currency field says so), and mileage comes in kilometres (mileage_km).
