How assistants use AI agents on the sites they work in
Personal and executive assistants can use Wield today for read-only lookups on buses, trains, hotels, restaurants and doctors. Each lookup runs in the browser the assistant works in, with that browser's own session. Writes such as booking or sending a message always need an explicit Allow. The logged-in tasks are not verified yet.
A day of assistant tasks
One morning could look like this. The assistant checks a bus from Berlin to Hamburg with FlixBus, then looks up a Munich U-Bahn route with MVG. After lunch it searches Doctolib for a dermatologist with free slots. In the evening it finds a table on OpenTable for four. Each step is a read. None of them sends anything.

What still needs you
| Task | Recipe | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Message a Kleinanzeigen seller | kleinanzeigen.de/message-seller | Write, untested. Always asks for Allow |
| Book a Doctolib slot | doctolib.de/book-slot | Write, untested. Always asks for Allow |
| Your Doctolib appointments | doctolib.de/my-appointments | Needs login, untested |
| Your Deutsche Bahn trips | bahn.de/my-bookings | Needs login, untested |
| Your Lieferando orders | lieferando.de/order-status | Needs login, untested |
Every write stops before its first write request and shows a window with each request and its body. Deny is the default. Two minutes without an answer counts as a deny. One Allow covers one run.
Privacy for your principal's accounts
Wield uses the session of the browser it runs in. If an assistant works in the principal's browser, a logged-in lookup uses the principal's login. Wield never reads, copies or sends cookies or passwords. Those stay on the computer. Results go from the extension to the AI app and never pass through wield.run.
Set up a browser profile for the assistant's tasks, and check each site's terms. Wield's recipes note known restrictions.
Sites without a recipe
Ask with request_recipe. That adds the site and task to the public request list. A paid plan lets you record a task in your own browser and turn it into a private recipe. Recording needs a Pro or Team plan. See pricing.
FAQ
Can an assistant book through Wield?
Not yet with confidence. The Doctolib booking recipe and the Kleinanzeigen message recipe are untested. Any write stops for your Allow before it sends anything.
Does Wield work with logged-in accounts?
Some logged-in recipes exist, such as Doctolib appointments, Deutsche Bahn trips and Lieferando orders. None is verified yet. Each needs a logged-in test run before it is ready.
What if the site I need has no recipe?
Ask with request_recipe. On a paid plan, you can record the task yourself and get a private recipe for it.
