Ticketmaster MCP server: let your AI agent search concerts and events

Wield is an MCP server that gives your AI agent one Ticketmaster search tool per country. The tool searches for an artist, event or venue. It returns upcoming events with the date, venue, city, artists, status and a link to buy tickets. You can limit the results to one country or one city. The search runs in your own browser, and prices are not part of the results.

RecipeWhat it doesLoginStatus (7 Nov 2026)
ticketmaster.de/search-eventsFinds upcoming events for an artist, event or venue, with dates, venues, status and buy linksNoOK, 6 of 6 checks, 1 request

The tool takes a required query, for example Coldplay or Lanxess Arena. The optional inputs are city, germany_only (default false) and page. Each page holds 20 events.

The city filter is matched against the venue's city on the page that comes back. The germany_only filter keeps only events in Germany. Ticketmaster's German search also lists events abroad, so each event carries an in_germany flag.

Each event has an id, title, start with its timezone, venue, city, country, address, postcode, coordinates, artists, status, sold_out, limited_availability, in_germany, sold_by_partner and url. The status can show cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, sold out, few tickets left or date to be announced. total counts all matching events worldwide, before the city and Germany filters.

Countries

Wield has one search recipe for each Ticketmaster country site below. All four take a query, an optional city and a page number, and need no login. The filters differ: ticketmaster.de uses germany_only, and the other three use national_only. On ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster.co.uk and ticketmaster.nl the total is capped at 10,000 results. The terms note is the same for all four (see Ticketmaster's terms below).

How a request flows

  1. You ask your agent: "Find Coldplay concerts in Germany this year, with dates, cities and venues."
  2. The agent calls find_recipe, then run with ticketmaster.de/search-events, query set to Coldplay and germany_only set to true.
  3. wield-mcp passes the run through the local bridge to the Wield extension.
  4. The extension sends the request from a ticketmaster.de tab in your browser, so it carries your own browser session.
  5. The events go back to your agent. Nothing passes through wield.run.

In our check on 7 November 2026, a Germany-only search for rock passed all 6 checks in one request. A comedy search for Berlin passed on page 2 with 5 events. A nonsense query returned no events.

What leaves your computer

A search makes one request to the Ticketmaster site you search, such as www.ticketmaster.de, for one results page, as the site serves it to a visitor. The recipe never selects tickets and never goes to checkout. Wield logs the request on your computer only, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.

Ticketmaster's terms, in plain words

The terms of ticketmaster.de, ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster.co.uk and ticketmaster.nl each prohibit robots and automated tools that retrieve or data-mine the site, and automated ticket buying. Wield runs this recipe only when you ask, in your own browser, one search results page per call. It never touches anything purchase-related (no ticket selection, no basket, no checkout) and never polls availability. This is not legal advice. Read the terms of the site you search yourself before you use this recipe in any other way.

Limits and what is not working yet

  • Read only. The recipe finds events. Ticket selection and checkout stay on Ticketmaster.
  • No prices. Search results carry no prices. Open the event's url to see the prices and buy.
  • The city filter is narrow. It matches the venue's city on the returned page only. total counts every match worldwide.
  • Events abroad are included. On ticketmaster.de, check in_germany, or set germany_only. On the other three sites, set national_only.
  • Run limits apply. A run has at most 12 steps, 40 requests, 5 MB per response and 60 seconds.

FAQ

Which Ticketmaster countries work?

Four country sites have a search recipe: ticketmaster.de (Germany), ticketmaster.com (US), ticketmaster.co.uk (UK) and ticketmaster.nl (Netherlands). The Countries table above gives each recipe id. None needs a login.

Can the agent buy tickets?

No. The recipe only searches. It never selects seats or tickets and never goes to checkout. Open the event's url to buy on Ticketmaster.

Does the search show prices?

No. The results carry no prices. Open the event link to see them.

Does it need a Ticketmaster login?

No. Search works without an account.

Which AI apps work with it?

Any MCP client. npx -y wield-mcp init sets up Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Other MCP clients work with the standard stdio config.

Where do the results go?

To your agent, on your own computer. The results never pass through wield.run.
