Let Claude search Airbnb stays for a place and dates
To let Claude search Airbnb stays, install Wield and ask for a place, a check-in date and a check-out date. Wield runs one search from your own browser with the airbnb.com/search-stays recipe. It returns stay names, total prices, ratings and links. No Airbnb login is needed. In our benchmark, the search had a median of 1.4 seconds.

What you need
- An MCP client: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP app.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.

You don't need to be logged in to Airbnb to search. Booking stays on airbnb.com.
Ask your agent
Use a sentence with the place, the dates, the guests and any price limit. For example:
"Find Airbnb stays in Paris from 12 to 15 December for 2 adults under 200 euros a night."
Claude maps your words to the recipe's params. It runs airbnb.com/search-stays and then summarises the stays it gets back.

If you ask for "under 200 euros a night", Claude sets price_max to 200 and currency to EUR.
What comes back
The top level has location, checkin, checkout, currency and stays. Each stay has:

Prices are for the whole stay. When a discount applies, the original price comes back too. Earlier versions left some prices empty. Version 2 reads all three price-line shapes Airbnb shows: qualified, discounted and ordered. In a wield-dev check for Paris, 20 of 20 listings came back priced.
What leaves your computer
One request goes to www.airbnb.com per search, sent from your own browser tab. Nothing goes through wield.run. Wield logs the method, host, path, status and timing on your computer. It never logs bodies or query values. Telemetry is off by default. Passwords and cookies never leave your computer.
Limits and terms
- Terms. Airbnb's robots.txt disallows AI training crawlers (ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai). Airbnb's terms prohibit scraping. Wield runs this recipe only when you ask, one search at a time from your own browser. The scope is set: you start each search, one search per call, from your own browser, with no bulk collection and no purchases. Read Airbnb's terms yourself.
- Status. The recipe reports OK on 7 November 2026 at 13:28, from a wield-dev check and an in-page test. The check passed 5 of 5 tests.
- Booking. The recipe only searches. It does not book, message hosts or change anything on Airbnb.
- Sort order. The recipe returns what Airbnb's search returns. It has no sort param.

Can Claude book the stay for me?
No. The recipe is read-only. You book on airbnb.com yourself.
Does it need an Airbnb login?
No. Searching needs no account. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.
Which currencies can I use?
Four: EUR, USD, GBP and CHF. The prices come back in the currency you choose.
