Let Claude search Walmart products with price and availability
Wield lets Claude search Walmart.com and read prices, ratings and availability. Claude runs the walmart.com/search-products recipe. The request runs in your own browser, with no login. The result lists product names, prices, previous prices, ratings, sellers and stock status. Buying stays on walmart.com.

9 runs each, 7 November 2026. How we measure
What you need
- An MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera or Chromium) with the Wield extension.
- wield-mcp. Follow the quick start and the install page, then run
npx -y wield-mcp init.
No Walmart account is needed. This recipe needs no login.
Ask your agent
Ask with the product, the price limit and the sort order. For example:
"Search Walmart for a 4K TV under 400 dollars, cheapest first."
Claude calls find_recipe, then run with walmart.com/search-products. It sends the product as query, the limit as max_price and the order as sort.
Params: what to put where
| Param | Required | What to put |
|---|---|---|
query | yes | What to search for, for example air fryer |
sort | no | best_match (the default), price_low, price_high, best_seller or rating_high |
min_price | no | The lowest price in USD |
max_price | no | The highest price in USD |
page | no | The results page. The default is 1 |
include_sponsored | no | true keeps sponsored products. The default is false, which drops them |
What comes back
The output has five fields: query, total, page, currency and products. Each product has id, name, price, was_price, rating, reviews, seller, availability, badges, sponsored, image_url and url.
The badges field can show labels such as "Best seller" or "Rollback". The was_price field shows the previous price when Walmart lists one.
In a browser check on 7 November 2026 at 12:58, the search returned 40 products sorted cheapest first.
What leaves your computer
The recipe sends one request to www.walmart.com. It leaves from your own browser tab. Nothing goes through wield.run.
Limits and terms
The recipe runs only from your own browser. During verification, Walmart's bot defence blocked a request made from outside a browser. For that reason the recipe does not run on a server.
Walmart's terms prohibit automated access and scraping. Use this recipe for your own searches, one at a time. It is not for collecting product data at scale.
Wield caps every run at 12 steps, 40 requests and 60 seconds.
