Let Claude search Blocket for second-hand items in Sweden
To let Claude search Blocket, install Wield, then name the item, a price limit if you have one, and the order you want. For example: "Find a used bicycle under 2,000 SEK on Blocket, newest first." Claude runs the blocket.se/search-marketplace recipe in your own browser. It returns ads with title, price in SEK, place, publish time, seller type and a link. No login is needed.

What you need
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.

Ask your agent
Give the item in Swedish if you know the word, or in English. Add a price range, a condition or a seller type if you want to narrow the search. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.

Claude then runs blocket.se/search-marketplace with query, max_price and sort, and reads the fields from each ad.

What comes back
The result has query, total, page, last_page and listings. total is the number of matching ads, and it can be null. last_page shows where the results end, and it can also be null.
Each ad shows title, price, currency, location, published_at (in UTC), seller, shipping, buy_now, latitude, longitude, image and url. The url opens the ad on blocket.se.
What leaves your computer
The recipe calls one host: www.blocket.se. Each run makes one request, the same search the Blocket page makes. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs each request on your computer, without bodies or query values.
Limits and terms
- We have not reviewed Blocket's terms for automated access. The recipe makes one request per call, the same search the page makes. Do not loop it or use it to collect ads in bulk.
- robots.txt disallows URLs with
sort=for bots. The recipe sends the sort order only when you ask for something other than relevance. - The recipe is read only. It sends no messages, offers or favourites.
- Status on 7 Nov 2026 is "ok". A bicycle search under 2,000 SEK, newest first, passed 6 of 6 checks in 1 request, in 470 ms. A giveaway search for "soffa" with private sellers returned 731 hits. A search with zero results was also checked.
FAQ
Can Claude message the seller?
No. The recipe only reads search results. It sends no messages, offers or favourites.
Does it need a login?
No. The search needs no account.
How do I find free items?
Set type to giveaway. Free items come back with a price of 0.
How does it compare with a browser agent?
