Let Claude search Eventbrite events in a city by keyword and date
To let Claude search Eventbrite events, install Wield and name a city, a keyword and optionally a date range. For example: "Find Eventbrite workshops in Köln between 1 and 15 December 2026 and show name, venue and date." Claude runs the eventbrite.de/search-events recipe in your own browser. It returns events with name, description, dates, venue, address and link. No login is needed.

Parameters (6)
What you need
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera) with the Wield extension.
wield-mcp. Runnpx -y wield-mcp init, or use the one-click Claude Desktop bundle on wield.run/install.
For the full setup, see the security notes first.
Ask your agent
Give the city, the keyword or category and, if you like, the dates. Write dates as YYYY-MM-DD. Claude calls find_recipe to find the recipe, then run with the parameters.
You: Find jazz events in Berlin between 2026-12-04 and 2026-12-06 and show name, venue, start date and link.
Claude then runs eventbrite.de/search-events with city set to Berlin, query set to jazz, date_from set to 2026-12-04 and date_to set to 2026-12-06.
Params: what to put where

query | no | A keyword or category, for example jazz, comedy or yoga. Use events for everything (default). |
date_from | no | Earliest event day, as YYYY-MM-DD. |
date_to | no | Latest event day, as YYYY-MM-DD. Use it together with date_from. |
page | no | Page number, starting at 1. Each page holds 20 events. |
What comes back
The result has city, query, page, events and matching. Each event shows its name, description, start_date, end_date, the online flag, venue, street, postcode, locality, country, coordinates, image, url and matches_query.
matching counts the events on this page that match every word of your query. matches_query marks each event the same way. Check it, because Eventbrite can fill a page with other events when few match.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to the Eventbrite site you search, such as www.eventbrite.de, for one results page, as the site serves it to a visitor. It runs from your browser, with the session you already have. Nothing passes through wield.run. Wield logs each request on your computer only, with method, host, path, status and timing, and never logs query values. Wield never reads, copies or sends your cookies or passwords.
Limits and terms
- Eventbrite's terms have not been reviewed yet for automated access, so this is not legal advice. Eventbrite's robots.txt allows /d/ pages, and the recipe makes one request for one results page, as the site serves it.
- The recipe runs one search for one results page. Do not loop it to watch events.
- Registration and tickets stay on Eventbrite. The recipe does neither.
- The search has no start times and no prices. Open the event's
urlfor them.
In our check on 7 November 2026, a Berlin search for jazz passed all 5 checks in one request. Promoted events are left out. The keyword only ranks results: in our check, a nonsense keyword returned the same 3,218 Berlin events as jazz. The recipe uses no model, so a run costs no LLM tokens.
FAQ
Can Claude register for an event or buy a ticket?
No. The recipe only searches. Open the event's url to register or buy on Eventbrite.
Why does the result include events that do not match my keyword?
Eventbrite fills the page with other events when few match your keyword. Check matches_query on each event, and matching for the page.
Does the search show prices and start times?
No. Open the event page for both.
Does it need a login?
No. The recipe runs without an account.
Is there an MCP server for Eventbrite?
Yes. Wield provides one through the eventbrite.de/search-events recipe. See the Eventbrite MCP page for the tool details.
