To let Claude search doctors on jameda, install Wield and ask for a specialty and a city. Claude runs the jameda.de/search-doctors recipe in your own browser. It returns doctors and practices with name, specialty, address, rating, review count, whether online booking exists, and the ids that the slot lookup needs.

What you need
- An MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
- A Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera or Chromium) with the Wield extension.

You don't need to log in to jameda to search.
Ask your agent
Name the specialty and the city. You can also ask for doctors who can be booked online. Example:

What comes back
The result has the specialty, city and page you asked for, plus a doctors list. Each doctor has:

On 7 Nov 2026, a live check for Hamburg general practitioners passed 5 of 5 checks in one request. The run took 1.0 s. In our checks, the search page showed no bot protection.
What leaves your computer
The recipe makes one request to www.jameda.de, from a tab in your own browser. Nothing goes through wield.run. Wield does not read, copy or send your cookies or passwords.
Health searches are sensitive. Results stay on your device, and telemetry is off by default.
Limits and terms
- jameda's terms forbid automated retrieval of profile data. Run one search at a time for your own question. Don't loop it over many cities or specialties.
- Paid placements are dropped by default. The
include_adsoption keeps them, marked as promoted.
Benchmark
As of 7 Nov 2026, preliminary. In our runs, the Wield recipe passed 9 of 9 searches, with a median of 447 ms and no model cost. A Browser Use agent driving Claude Sonnet 5.5 also passed 9 of 9. Its median was 51.2 s, at about $0.15 per run. Both sides passed, so this comparison is about speed. The check was at least 5 doctors with name and city. Full method: the jameda search benchmark.
FAQ
Are paid listings included?
Not by default. Set include_ads to true to keep them. The recipe then marks each paid entry as promoted.
Can I search by doctor name?
Yes. The specialty field accepts a doctor's name as well as a specialty.
How do I see free appointments?
Each doctor shows online_booking and free_slots. Set bookable_only to true to keep only doctors with online booking and free slots. To read the slots themselves, use the slot lookup.
